Gaurav’s career spans more than two decades in telecom, broadcast & streaming media. He has had a truly international experience across emerging & mature markets. He is uniquely positioned having led a broadcast network, a streaming platform, a TV distribution business, and a broadcast tech company.

Gaurav is currently Executive Director at Arqiva, UK’s leading broadcast technology company where he leads the Media & Broadcast business. Arqiva brings TV & radio to almost all UK households, delivers 1000+ TV channels globally and counts all major media brands as customers.

Most recently, he was at Telia Company as Business Head-TV & Streaming in the Nordics. In a declining DTV market, he led Telia TV to double digit growth, bringing Champions League football to an OTT platform for the first time. He spent five years at Disney in London as SVP, leading Disney Star broadcast TV network in UK, Europe & Africa and then establishing Disney+Hotstar streaming platform in North America. He built a highly successful greenfield TV business in anglophonic Africa for Disney Star and grew Disney+Hotstar exponentially in North America. He also has performed a series of sales & commercial leadership roles at Vodafone Group globally.
