Celebrating Excellence, Diversity, and Innovation in British Asian Media

The British Asian Media Awards (BAM) is a prestigious platform dedicated to celebrating the achievements, diversity, and excellence of the British Asian media landscape. Held annually, this distinguished event honors individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the South Asian community through journalism, entertainment, activism, and the arts.

BAM stands as a beacon for inclusivity and representation, spotlighting pioneers who have shaped the narrative of British Asians in the media. From groundbreaking news coverage and creative storytelling to impactful social activism and community engagement, the awards pay tribute to the leaders and changemakers driving progress and innovation.

In 2025, the celebration will reach new heights with a spectacular Black Tie Gala Dinner, featuring the British Asian Media Awards and the launch of the British Asian Media Power 50 annual book. This extraordinary event will take place on Thursday, 27th February at the iconic Madhu’s at The Dilly Hotel, 21 Piccadilly, London W1J 0BH. The evening will shine a spotlight on the invaluable contributions of the British Asian community while celebrating excellence in media and storytelling.

BAM also highlights the vital role of the British Asian community in shaping the UK’s cultural and economic fabric. As the media industry continues to evolve, the British Asian Media Awards remains a powerful testament to the importance of representation, unity, and progress. By honoring trailblazers and inspiring future generations, BAM celebrates the enduring legacy and vibrant contributions of British Asians to the media and beyond.
